WE'RE ENGAGED!!

To get married.

Tonight is the one year anniversary of Nata agreeing to be my girlfriend, and at 9:15pm she agreed to be my wife.

She is the most amazing woman in the world, and I love her with all my heart.

Congratulations.

It's an interesting date according to the Roman Martyrology - The Vigil of the Assumption.

I don't know of any specific blessings for an engagement. The closest is the Nuptial Blessing, which is essentially Psalm 127:

Blessed are they who fear the Lord and walk in His ways. For they shall eat the labours of their hands. Your wife as a fruitful vine on the sides of your house. Your children around your table as study as olive branches.So shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. May the Lord bless you out of Sion, and may you see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of your life. And may you see your children's children.

THANKS!!!!!!!!

On a more serious note, I am sorry that it has taken me so long to get a note on here to say thanks for dropping by and making me really popular. It felt nice. Different, but nice (note to everyone, pictures of cute russian girls get you LOTS of votes). At the moment, me and Nata are arranging all that we can arrange. The Wedding, the Visa etc etc..... and it is draining my time with an amazing amount of skill and energy. It's more than worth it though. I don't know when I will be able to get back to regular posting, but I hope to soon.

Till then, with thanks to everyone that makes posting on here fun (which is pretty well all of you),
